I Take of Places gathers a series of sculptures that explore what happens when objects and materials come under pressure: balance, redistribution, fracture and repair. The work emerges from a decade of working inside medical simulation labs, where anatomical models are produced and discarded. Using failed casts, torn membranes, miscast organs and surplus silicone alongside dried seeds, rusted metal tools, seashells and packaging, the sculptures assemble precarious forms that shift between body and landscape. Placed on terrazzo floors, furniture, concrete blocks and gallery walls, they hover between specimen and relic, quietly questioning which bodies are preserved and which are allowed to disappear.
